No leaks after 3 months.

manufactured gear oil on my 04 Grand Prix GT2 at 140,000 miles. I used this new gasket to replace the original gasket and after a few months no problem. would buy again.

Gasket just installed, no leaks yet

Gasket just installed, no leaks yet. All holes fit. Dirty job, for my tip of the day, use a wide drain pan and always keep two bolts on one side when the pan first cracks to limit the drain area.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Can't remember

Looked exactly or was better quality than the existing gasket

Glad I decided to spend a little more on this gasket compared to other alternatives. It requires no sealant and is perfect for my '06 Pontiac Grand Prix. I don't risk transmission seals, especially when they keep 8 liters of transmission oil off the ground at $10 a liter.

The best pad I've ever used!

Factory padding like Fel-Pro. rubber/metal/rubber. The factory seal was still good after 96,000 on my Chevy Lumina, where I had the transmission oil changed. Just in case I was still using that Fel Pro Pad. Also, I didn't have to scrape the old gasket off the transmission or the oil pan. The rubber/metal/rubber seal leaves no marks on the pan or gear. It's very stiff and didn't move or gather when the pan was installed! Good product!

Pros
  • Beautifully packaged
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

I would rate it a 10 if I could

Over the years in the auto repair industry I have consistently found Fel-Pro seals to be superior to any other brand. This Automatic Pallet Pad is a rigid, pallet-shaped frame covered in durable, soft, ribbed rubber. The back of the spacer does not move when you tighten the front screws or vice versa. I've seen these pan gaskets used and then reused many times with no leaks. although no one would recommend such a practice (winks). As far as I know, this would only be possible with the Fel-Pro…

Pros
  • High score for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not sure

Just like the original

The transmission filter on my 2003 Buick Regal was recently replaced. Dropped a pallet and the gasket that was on the pallet was the same material. The Fel-Pro gasket seemed a bit thicker, but the old gasket was 10 years old so it's hard to tell. I cleaned the sump very well and used some gasket glue (never use RTV) to hold the washer in place, sits a lot while I install the new filter and raise the sump with no problems. When changing the filter I installed a JEGS Performance Products 60175…
