The best black light! We use this for scorpion hunting 🦂. It's very bright but not purple like some other black lights. A little warm, but not critical. It needs to be charged about every 4-5 hours of use. There is a week between applications. We can see scorpions at a distance of 20-25 feet. Worth the money spent!

I already had a smaller Alonefire SV41 10W and was very impressed with it. This 36 watt H42 is like holding and powering 3 SV41 together in the same range. The H42 has much wider beam coverage, but peak brightness appears to be the same. I could not have taken these photos without the wider UVa H42 beam. This is a great 365nm UV light for the price it is sold for. not a diffused light (it doesn't have a spotlight), but a floodlight, and it can illuminate a large area very effectively. Also, it is less bright compared to Convoy C8 or uvBeast 356nm for various reasons.
