Pure White Classic Beadboard Double Switch Wall Plate/Cover by Franklin Brass (Model W35268-PW-C) Review

Looks nice but I didn't know it was plastic. The same at Home Depot is wooden and prettier but twice the price. The grooves are not as pronounced on the plastic version, but still look normal.

This is a very good quality cover but the color is white *off*. It had very gray undertones and looked terrible against the white wall. We fixed the spray paint issue by ordering a second one to make sure it wasn't a quality issue.

I painted three rooms white and I liked the headboard structure so I ordered them for all the sockets and switches. They look clean and bright, but not flashy. They are also easy to clean from accidental fingerprints.

They are not as good as Home Depot, Lowes or Walmart. They look plastic and there isn't much detail in the cardboard part. They should be around $3 to $3.50, not $5.99. I give honest reviews guys but when I see a shovel I don't call it a diamond!

This product has no metal base and is fragile. Tighten the screw a little and it will break. A similar product (same style/look) from Brainerd is sold at Lowes and is a much better product.

The photos are not correct. This simple little update on my outlets makes the walls look amazing. I have a farmhouse look at home and these plates were just what I needed. Great price, great quality, perfect fit. They come with screws and are very easy to install. I just bought 4 more sets.

I do not know why the negative reviews, maybe people are buying decorative wall plates for the first time!? I ordered a full set of these for my house and NONE of them broke, they all came with very long screws and every time you use plastic you can't tighten the screws properly because of course they will break. I am very happy with the purchase and think they add a nice touch to my coastal decor.

If you describe something as "CLASSIC GIST PANEL" people might assume that switch cover is made of wood. It's not like this. I saw "BEADBOARD" and assumed it was wood because while the description doesn't say the cover is wood, it doesn't say it's NOT WOOD either. Which I find somewhat misleading. When attaching this cover, be careful not to over-tighten the screws. There's no pad or backing to press it against the light switch and drywall - just hollow plastic.
