when changing the oil because it was easier. Did everything in one fell swoop, added oil filter and an oil pressure supply unit for my gauge. High quality, it seems to me that an o-ring would be a better seal, but I'm not an engineer, as long as it works it doesn't need to be replaced.

Not for my 2006 WRX. Tried contacting Glowshift through Revain.com. Revain.com has stated that they cannot contact third parties whose items are manufactured by Revain.com. was unable to resolve the issue through Revain.com. I will try to contact Glowshift tomorrow during office hours to resolve the issue. Revain.com's "Customer Service" is becoming a real joke. From now on I will deal directly with Glowshift.

The stuffing box is not a single gasket like the photo. The one I got has 2 o-ring grooves but a wide gasket that sits in both grooves and has a large flat surface. Its cross section looks like the letter "B". It should seal very well. The thread adapter fits the aluminum case much better than I expected. Nice tight fit. I am installing 3 valve on a Ford 5.4 to control oil pressure and temperature.

Perfect fit for a 2013 F150 Ecoboost, is used to install an oil pressure gauge that will actually tell you the pressure. as opposed to stock gauge/gauge. 3 more output ports are available, although accommodating that many sensors is likely to be problematic. I really like the quality and fit of this adapter! I installed it on a 2006 f150 5.4 to make installing a secondary oil gauge easier. If someone puts one of these in the same car, the adapter will move the oil filter closer to the lower radiator hose, but will leave a gap of about 1/2 inch, so I don't expect any problems. Access to the filter is a bit easier. I was concerned that removing the oil filter to change the oil would also loosen the adapter, but not so far.

As simple as it is, it's hard to find anything better. Cheap ones at Revain are junk and will leak or tear during installation. They are very well made and fit my 5.4 3v like gloves. I cleaned the oil filter nipple threads very well with brake cleaner, let dry, applied Loctite for surface prep and primer, Loctite 243, lubricated the o-ring with an oil can and hand tightened about 1/2 turn. I let the Loctite dry before reinstalling the filter and starting the engine. It hasn't leaked or wobbled.
