Oh tiny but GORGEOUS!

Be sure to read before you buy! Those are little glue sticks! They're fine, just VERY tiny the size of a hygiene bud! So that. The price is ok though, I just thought it would be more. Works well great product but I will be looking for a much larger container of the same product. It was ok for my product and it worked, but I would have liked the JUMBO glue stick much better.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

SKIP this, no liability

I bought Gorilla Glue because I thought it would be extremely sticky. Since I've used the liquid version a lot. It's ridiculously NOT sticky. You roll it out on a piece of paper and it's purple, but IMMEDIATELY it turns transparent and seems to lose its stickiness after a few seconds. I applied too much (used up all the glue stick on a few pages of the collage) and yet whole pages just peeled off the edges after drying. Super disappointing. I'll try Elmer's.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • No paint required

Waste of money on office and school supplies

Terrible! Glue sticks need to be glued and glued. I usually buy Elmer's but decided to give them a try as I love other Gorilla Glue products. But it's garbage. It becomes transparent when dry. But that's the only thing he has. I was making envelopes for postcards, and I had to glue and load several times because it just wouldn't stick. Finally I gave up, there was more glue than paper. Don't waste your money on it, go with what really works. I don't understand why he has such a high overallโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • old

Doesn't meet Gorilla standards

These glue sticks dried so quickly I thought the problem was why they didn't stick well, but then I realized that even if you can try to fix them stick before they dry (faster!), they still didn't have much adhesion. They didn't serve us very well for our project. Back to Elmer's trusty old glue sticks. I've seen some good reviews so maybe we just have a 'bad batch' but on the other hand I've seen MANY reviews similar to mine, maybe it's Gorilla's 'back to the drawing board'.

Pros
  • Tape, Adhesives & Fasteners
Cons
  • Something Else

The worst glue stick!

I spent more than usual on these because they are Gorilla Glue Sticks and I thought they were very good. I've used many other glue sticks with no problems. These glue sticks don't stick anything. They leave no glue on the paper and do not stick. I figured the end of the glue stick might have dried out at the factory, so I cut about 1/4 inch off the stick and tried again. There was no gluing or glue on the paper yet. I just bought some Elmer's glue. Sticks today and throw away those sticks fromโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Glue Sticks and Pens
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Worst Gorilla Product - Shame on the name

This is not a Gorilla product. Can not be. They just licensed their name to someone. Just get Elmer's or any other brand you like. The glue stick should grab, slide a little, and then hold. After curing/drying it should stand firm. This gorilla glue stick won't grab or hold. He's too soft. Closer to thick petroleum jelly than glue stick (and close to freezing here, so temperature isn't a concern). I glued 2 pieces of cardboard together. ran them along one side of the section. Flat, dry, bareโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Office & School Supplies
Cons
  • Obsolete Model
