Did not come with the required basket as described

I am very upset, the description says it comes with a 'drip basket' which is needed to follow the instructions but there is no basket .

Jeweler Owner says: Hagerty!

Because pearl jewelry needs the right cleaning/polishing product, I asked a friend who owns a jewelry store what product he chose. Hagerty was his recommendation.

Pros
  • Permanent Test Results
Cons
  • Protection

Safe cleaner best for house cleaning

I have to admit when I first bought this product I thought it was a formula for removing tarnish from pearl jewelry. Not all solutions are safe for pearls or other gemstones. However, this product works well and I use it to clean pearls and other gemstones.

Pros
  • Bought finally
Cons
  • Long time

Perfect for your delicate gems.

This cleaner does an excellent job of cleaning my jewelry that contains "soft" gemstones such as pearls, opals and jade. It is also ideal for cleaning Mystic Topaz as they are covered in a film that dissolves in more caustic detergents.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Something different

Much whiter now! good for all purpose cleaner

I bought this product for my grandmother's pearls. She's been wearing these pearls for 25 years and I don't know they've ever been cleaned! When I received them they looked golden from all the lotions and oils on their skin. I wasn't sure if they would come clean or not. I soaked them in Hagerty's Pearl Clean for 10 minutes, then rinsed in warm water and soaked again. They are visibly whiter and have a pearly shine again! Very pleasantly surprised!

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

The product worked great on both my late mother and my mother-in-law's beads (the jewelry is over 60 years old old). They look new. Unfortunately, this has not eliminated the cigarette smell from knotted cords. The beads will need to be re-strung before wearing. I hope the beads themselves are not soaked in smoke/nicotine damage. It would be a shame so sentimental about throwing away items because of the dangers of nicotine.Do not store if they make you sick!

Cons
  • Requires socket

The product worked great on both my late mother and my mother-in-law's beads (jewelry over 60 years old) and looks great like new unfortunately it has not been removed the knots of cigarette smell beads will need to be re-strung before wearing hope the beads themselves are not saturated with smoke/nicotine damage it will make you feel nauseous!

Pros
  • household items
Cons
  • Crumpled

Works great with vintage beads!

I had a Laguna pearl necklace from my grandmother that turned yellow with age. I tried buffing it with a polishing cloth I got from a jewelry store after seeing if they could clean it, but they couldn't. First I wanted to see if it would be safe for her so I just dipped the end and twisted it for 30 seconds. When I took them out, the yellow beads were beautiful ivory! I did the whole chain and it looks brand new. I can not believe that! Definitely worth the money. The liquid in the glass is now

Pros
  • Health and Life
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

I received a treasure trove of cultured and freshwater pearls from the estate. I was afraid to do my own laundry. So I bought this jewelry cleaner. I've washed a lot of beads and the solution is carbon black. I think I should throw it away now. I don't know much about pearls but I can say with confidence that the jewelry now has an amazing luster. It didn't do anything for sterling silver or gold clasps, they're still ugly. But step by step. I'll definitely have this tin on hand. I'm giving 4…
