expensive but nice paper

Excellent sketchbook. Excellent binding, nice elastic to close and the Hahnemühle paper is great. It is just the right size for a large travel painting. You can sit at a table with a cup of coffee and cook up a delicious piece - just don't mix up coffee and water! I wouldn't recommend it for beginners because of the price, but experienced urban sketchers should like it.

Pros
  • Everyone likes it so far
Cons
  • Negative impression

Favorite watercolor book!

Wow, I love this watercolor book! It's the perfect size for travel and isn't too big. Loved the ribbon marker and also the elastic that keeps the page in place as you draw. Cover made of comfortable fabric with a structured feel and in a neutral grey. Most importantly, the sites are awesome! I use Qor watercolor paint and the pages are very smooth and take paint and water well. This may be my favorite watercolor sketchbook right now.

Pros
  • 200 gsm acid-free off-white paper
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Great quality, one small complaint.

Fine paper quality and solid feel all round. The only downside is what another buyer mentioned, which is that the pages stick together in the binding (very little in my case) and when they separate, tiny tears form where it looks like glue was used, or maybe Does it come from – for the temperature changes from production to delivery. . That's a bit of a downside for me, and next time I'll let the book come to room temperature and then heat it with a hair dryer for a minute to loosen any glue…

Pros
  • Fine grain, high quality paper
Cons
  • I'll write later

Not worth it, poor quality

I've heard good things about Hahnemühle paper and when I bought it a few months ago I thought of the description said 100% cotton. maybe I was wrong. I like to use watercolor sketchbooks for practice, but I really prefer cotton pads, which are hard to come by. I prefer not to leave bad reviews but this is not for the experienced watercolorist used to painting on cotton. It doesn't work well with watercolor layers in general. I notice that the dry painting looks glossy in some places I've…

  • Hardcover, 30 sheets/60 pages
