Works well for long distance signal transmission.

I bought this to put in my dad's theater. We ran about 40 feet of cable and he wanted 4k so that was a must. This works fine, just pay attention to which is the sender and which is the receiver, otherwise you'll have to redo everything. Message about disconnecting the projector. Insert the DVD, go to the main menu, click play. Instead of "Sony Download" from a DVD player, you get the standard beamer screen and no signal message. However, it disappears the moment the movie starts playing, so who

Value and recommended

HDMI cable was not working. It took me over 25 feet to keep my cable from running through the middle of the floor to my projector. I was impressed with the picture quality. I get a 4K oHDR image that's larger than what I get with HDMI cables longer than 25 feet, even though they're rated as HDR. The blocks get warm when you're watching a movie, but they work great! I would recommend keeping them in a ventilated area. The blue and red LEDs are very bright and I want you to turn them off. The IR…

Best HDBaseT HDMI Extender

I have bought and used about 6 different HDBaseT HDMI extenders and I can honestly tell you that this is by far the best option in this price range. This is one of the few devices that supports 4:4:4, HDR10, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos flawlessly. I've seen a few other devices with similar features for around $600. I can finally put all my consoles (PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One X) and AppleTV in an AV cabinet and watch them flawlessly anywhere in my living room without ugly cables.

Pros
 • 𝐓𝐖𝐎-𝐖𝐀𝐘 𝐈𝐑 - Either control TV from DVD side or control DVD from TV side with IR remote control. >> Connect IR emitter to TX IR OUT; IR receiver to RX IR IN >> Place the IR emitter next to the DVD; IR receiver next to TV

It just works. to external components

Works as described. I connected everything with no problems and it just worked. I am using 4K HDR 60Hz from a receiver to a projector. Looks just as good as if I had a media player plugged in directly and no lag that I can tell. I heard it's gonna be hot. If I come across this I might try sticking a self-adhesive heat spreader on it.

Easy setup does a great job!

The Ezcoo 4K HDMI Extender is a great solution for those who want to stream HDR 10, 4K content at 60Hz or even simple 1080p content over long distances throughout the home. It's very simple and requires you to run an Ethernet cable (CAT5E or better) from the transmitter to the receiver as it provides both data for the content and power for the receiver. The extender handles the signal very well, and while I haven't been able to test the devices for gaming performance, I've found that there's…
