Description of ⚙️ HHIP Adjustable Reamer 16 1 1 - Precision Tool for Customized Hole Sizing
Straight flute reamers should be used in thru-hole applications only. Blades are adjusted by loosening one nut and tightening the other. Reamer expands to the next size. Adjustable blades give the operator the ability to handle multiple hole sizes with a single tool. Square end allows the user to turn the reamer by hand with an adjustable wrench or straight handle tap wrench.
A good tool, but it is configured differently than normal sweeps. Good for through holes. You might be better off looking for traditional ones if you're working in a blind or half-dead well.
Don't waste your money. This is a low quality tool. If you use one, carefully check the diameter of the three sets of knives. I have a set of blades that is about .008" larger than the other two. One set of blades does all the cutting. Almost useless.
This is an adjustable reamer that works well. The end of the cutter has a handy ridge to help align the reamer and start cutting. The adjustment mechanism is reliable and works smoothly. The workmanship isn't as good as some of my older USA made tools, but it was the right tool for the job at the right price.
