I am giving 3 stars because the hands of the watch arrived as described but were sent in a padded envelope and arrived bent.

Product as expected. Looks good but a bit thin for the size. Based on the instructions, I think I'm also missing a nut or washer, which is probably why the hands feel so weak.

Only buy this item if you want to return it more than once. The second time they sent me a defective product. The minute hand is missing a round piece of metal that allows it to fit into the shank mechanism. It doesn't disappoint to complete a simple project.

The hands on this watch are very thin and have almost no contact surface securing them to the shaft. These two things make them almost impossible to touch, so the clock will never be accurate. Instead, I recommend this product. Many years ago I bought a large wooden clock from Pier One. It was my favorite watch but over time it stopped telling the time. I was so excited but I still left it on the wall because it was so beautiful. And the time was accurate twice a day (haha). Finally, I decided to look for a replacement mechanism for my watch. I've tried it in the past but I think the movement isn't for big watches. After some research I realized I needed a high torque movement so I gave this one a try. I have replaced
