This thing and its larger 24v sibling performs like a champ, way better than I thought it would. the repair function works, fixed a few tractor batteries and still a few months without a battery, most chargers don't even charge and just give an error. Just buy it, it's one of the few cases where it's both cheap and good. Can't say how long it lasts but mine is 10 months old and still working. Get one for a friend

I charged my car battery as soon as I received it. I followed the instructions and used the impulse charge/repair mode and after one night my car battery voltage dropped from 8.4v to 12.7v. This is such a sentinel during COVID. One gripe is that the short clamp cord makes it very difficult to adjust the position of the clamps. The power cord is also quite short. You must have an outlet nearby or use an extension cord. This is my first time using it and a car battery charger. Will update reviews

This thing works incredibly well. I charged some batteries and repaired 3 others. Understand this matter. With everything I restored, the charger said full just as the battery had just started charging. This tells you that the cells need to start regenerating before they can begin their repairs. If this happens, either enter it for repair or restart charging a few times until the cells have regenerated enough to start charging. If you are patient, it will do you a great favor.
