Ford F150 F250 Explorer Set of 8 Ignition Coil Pack - Upgraded DG508 DG457 DG472 Compatible - 4.6L 5.4L V8 V10 - Black Review

I bought this set of 8 coils and installed them on my 2005 F250. I've had them for less than 30 days and about 500 miles and have already had one breakdown. I swapped out the broken one for the old one I still had and it's working fine again. So disappointed with this purchase.

So be aware that you bought them for less than a dollar. Unfortunately as expected you get what you pay for, the plug installation broke down when I upgraded my plugs. So for the physical quality of a product that typically costs between $200 and $350, I'm not expecting much. But you still have to call it what it is.

They are great and seem to perform better than the stock OEM units. You may encounter a problem like me. I had a coil that was bad and contacted the seller who was less than helpful. I ordered another set and in the meantime replaced the defective one with a new OEM device. To my surprise, the computer didn't work. When new ones arrived I replaced them with new ones and everything was fine.

Appearance. The HV ignition only helps if you have the appropriate modifications such as injectors, higher compression, economy mode or boost. I don't think they will be better than Stock. I didn't see any fuel savings or performance gains. They're also cheaper than Motorcraft and work just as well. The question of ease of assembly does not arise here. It's the same as stocks. When you need colourful, efficient coils for your F150 (I have 4.6L). They will work just fine.

Dropping out right after installation isn't worth the time and money if I could give zero stars I wouldn't waste time on the tour. Do not buy. We have to send back the old one as this is not the product you need! They are Pos Bad for those just trying to get through the tough times cut short by COVID and everyone is going crazy. Just trying to make it, I can't afford $200 but we need our car. But hey, you get what you pay for. So if you want a car to travel with, don't buy it!

Will NOT fit 2006 F150 as described. After a very tedious fork swap we were ready to install these coils and ended up having to use the old ones until we got the right ones when we found out (in the middle of our fork and coil swap) that they were the wrong coils! Very disappointing considering the description says the car is for you! I hope this place gets it right and sends me the correct coils (for my 2006 F150) asap.

I finally replaced my original ignition coil modules with this after 127,000 miles and so far so good. I have a 2004 Ford F150 XL V8 Triton engine. Buy some Di Electric Grease, 1 small bag at your local auto store and put a small amount where you connect the side of the spark plug. You won't hear a click when it connects, so just push it in as far as you can (the 7mm bolt secures your position anyway). Coil Module #4 is tricky, see the YouTube video on how to install it. I'm honestly impressed. Your value for money is excellent! I bought the kit as I didn't want to pay around $200 for a set at my local auto parts store. They arrived for me the next day and have worked great since installation. It's a bit of a hassle to install, but that's not their fault, it's the design of the engine. After putting them on my misfire codes on cylinders 1 and 6 were gone, the old ones were cracked and allowing water to get into the spark plug area. ! No questions. Very happy…
