The instructions for this product along with this easy step by step DIY approach is an absolute joke. Not only was the idea of cutting metal with a hacksaw not effective, but installing wedges was insane unless you had some Herculean strength and extra hands. It took over an hour just to cut these aluminum bars because the hacksaw won't work if you can't attach it to something or if someone doesn't help you. This cover is terrible! The sides in my set did not have a lip as shown in the pictures so they could be set flush with the top of the tank. Instead, you'll have to buy clamps to hold it in place and trim it to fit the top, or let it rest on the tank. Also, the screen is not at all like the pictures. It looks more like 1/8" mesh than 1/4" as stated in the description. It's also very thick, so it blocks a lot of light and barely fits the max width. It is also almost impossible to collect. The…
