Enhanced Thermal Solution for Intel Corp BXTS13A Review

I was surprised to learn that this cooler has a (blue) LED backlight. The general build quality is good. There may be other coolers out there that perform better, but the ease of installation and use make this a worthy contender if you don't plan on overclocking. The power cords are a little flimsy, but tape won't fix anything. However, I recommend removing the preinstalled thermal paste and applying your own.

This is a very great product, easy to install, cools great and at a very good price. But the best thing I really like is that it doesn't take up much space at all and doesn't get in the way of installing RAM at all. Recommend this product to anyone like me looking for a thermal solution for a 32GB RAM build.

HOPE builders will understand this is a serial cooler for use in STANDARD conditions. works as it should for intended purchase, I've used several of these in home servers and inexpensive workstation builds and they all work. A word to the wise - Apply a quality thermal compound as this will prolong the life of the assembly with this cooler and also save you from having to upgrade the cooler later just to run at stock speeds.

Plugs directly into the motherboard and cools my processor perfectly. Previously, the processor was warmed up. I removed the old fan and put this in and it works much better.

Since it is only designed for LGA2011 and LGA2011, it is very easy to install it on a dedicated motherboard. I didn't use the included thermal paste and opted for the Noctua NT-H1 instead, so can't comment on that, but it gets the job done and costs a lot less than most other options, and I can't fault its performance. I think this cooler is misunderstood. One review mentioned that the contact surface of this cooler is round, while the processor case is rectangular. But that's not a problem because your real CP chip is about 16mm square and the radiator surface is about 28mm round. So it more than covers the area where the heat is generated.
