Privacy Screen Doesn't Hide Much

I used to use multiple privacy screen filters on an older 13-inch MacBook and a 15.6-inch HP Specter x360. What I love about it is how easy it is to install on my 16" MacBook Pro. The magnetic mount was pretty light and snapped into place. You also get two instructions for use stickers that are located at the bottom of the screen. Not as described. the laptop does not remain closed after packing in a briefcase

I'm not a fan of reviews but I thought it best to voice my concerns about this item. The seller claims that the laptop closes with the privacy screen installed. If you plan to use it in one place, open it on your desk and never travel. You can close it and it will stay closed as shown in the pictures. Once you put it in a briefcase, or in my case a Filson bag, the laptop stays open. Approximately 3/8 inch. At this point, it opens and closes with each step. You can close it and it will reopen…

promise fulfilled!

This privacy screen definitely lives up to its promise! I looked at a few options before buying these, but most of the ones I found had either 2 small sticky layers of adhesive (don't know the correct term, sorry) and I didn't want to spend that much time setting up or traces left on my screen. A lot of them didn't have great reviews, there were a lot of complaints that people got the wrong model.
