Works perfectly! on my MAC

I just plugged it into the USB port on my MAC PB OS10.4 laptop and it was that easy. Works perfectly! I like a familiar keyboard, like the 10-key keyboard. Another thing I would like is a backspace key. I especially wanted 2 extra USB ports.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Nice compact keyboard, 2 USB ports is a plus

After using this on my wife's laptop she ran out of USB sticks and also got tired of not having a number pad. Good thing, compact. Well done.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • For seniors

Attention OS X users! good for hubs

This seems like a great product, very affordable and will probably work well on most systems. but even though it says it's compatible with Mac systems above OS 8.6, it doesn't work properly with my OS X Powerbook. I contacted customer service to see if I didn't set it up correctly, but after trying various strategies, customer service emailed me saying the device just wasn't compatible with my system. It seems to be the cheapest keyboard for the money, but I wish they advertised itsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Works for many
Cons
  • It makes me nervous

Nice design but doesn't work with my laptop

I bought this number pad because it had a standard layout similar to a regular desktop number pad. To be precise, it has a big 0/insert key where others add a "000" key between the enter key and the 0/insert key. However, as soon as I plug it into my HP/Compaq laptop (running Windows XP Pro), it throws an overload warning and the USB port is immediately disabled. There is no workaround.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Expandable

Doesn't work best in networking products

This item arrived safely and is of good quality, but it doesn't meet my expectations as it doesn't work on my HP laptop. I could not request the return of this product as I ordered it to Costa Rica.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Cool little thing. on Computers & Accessories

I have a 12 inch laptop and hate playing with the number keys as I'm used to using the calculator and number pad on the keyboard. The connected keyboard speeds up the numbering process, especially when creating documents in Excel. It also has two additional ports. Great little device!

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Some Difficulties

Good design, imperfect execution

I chose one of these to use with the 3D design suite which uses the numeric keypad for special functions. Unfortunately, while the pocket keyboard works well for typing numbers or cursor keys, it doesn't properly mimic a numeric keypad. For applications that need to be able to distinguish the numbers on the top row of the keyboard from the numbers on the keyboard, this device didn't work. I spent a few hours debugging the setup before giving up and buying another USB keyboard (Targus AKP01US)โ€ฆ

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Only available in white
