Now people say it sounds like i'm next to them

I got this to boost the sound coming from my new mic on my headphones. It did it! Previously it was barely audible; Now people say it sounds like I'm next to them. Problem solved.

Do not use for more than one last chance.

This is great for a laptop with poor or choppy audio with intrusive and buggy drivers/software and coming from a 'low-end' audiophile. However, if you plan on using it for more than just a laptop or gaming console, the only good thing is that the audio on the board is absolutely superb afterwards. Audio quickly becomes distorted at higher volumes (this is more common with consoles and inexpensive headphones) and adds noise. If you're a music lover, there are some additional downsides. The sound

Provides much better sound quality and works on Raspberry Pi2/3 devices out of the box. I use it to stream music from the Calm Radio and Shoutcast plugins with the OpenElec 6.03 Media Center software running on Raspberry Pi2 and 3 devices and the sound quality has come down to the onboard external audio output which is rough at best is, significantly improved.
