Buy with confidence

Genuine OFC wire. Justify my expectations. Used to drive a 12" powered subwoofer. The sound quality via cinch is good enough for a subwoofer. I haven't tried it with midrange drivers. Cable length fits my Yaris almost exactly, from battery to trunk, which can be a bit short with longer vehicles RCA cable and remote cable are longer than the blue 8 ga power cable Cable lugs are cheap but serve the purpose and are suitable for light installations.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Almost never

What I received was CCA. cheated

I'll be short and sweet. I ordered it after the reviews said it was an OFC. My set was CCA and I knew it the moment I saw it. Despite the time, I had surgery in two days, and contrary to common sense, I've still been using it. RCA only worked on one side. Now he has to get out. As others have said, the fuse holder is also junk. Since I can't remove it under the return window, I'll stick with it. When I recover from the surgery it will be ripped out and thrown in the trash.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Good but not great

Quality Car Audio/Video Kit

I don't know why the reviews of these kits being only remotely good are still relevant. This is a tinned OFC cable and is a quality cable that is very easy to work with. Nicer than expected RCA cables are included, and the included speaker cable is a nice touch. Heck, even a remote line is a quality cable. The only issue I had was using the included port covers. They were slightly smaller and therefore could not be used over cords. Nothing a little heat shrink couldn't fix but was a bit…

Matches wire gauge, true OFC, great price

Received as a budget install kit, but I definitely didn't get a "budget" product. An 8 gauge cable is perfect for connecting a small amp to my front stage and subwoofer. The speaker wire is very good quality but it didn't last two sides of my car so I used a cheap roll of clear speaker wire. You'll love the included high-quality connection hardware like the gold-plated speaker and battery connectors. Aside from the extra speaker wire, it was a good all round kit to install my amp.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Pretty good

Very good quality item for the price

Never use cheap amplifier wiring kits. DO NOT BUY THEM! I bought a BOSS Audio 8ga amplifier kit. It was terrible. The ground and power wires were more like 10 ga wire in an 8 ga insulating sleeve. KnuKonceptz actually makes a decent amp kit. There power/ground is actually tinned copper. The included 60 amp fuse can handle 60 amps. Your cables can actually operate at a nominal amp per foot. The included RCA cables are actually twisted (and appear decent) and not just junk. I haven't used them…

  • Enjoyable
Cons

The performance of the speaker cables was excellent. Seemed full AWG

Power and speaker wires were great. Seems to be full AWG and long enough to fit an amp under the front seat of my CR-V and a subwoofer in the back. The fuse box worked perfectly. All the extra crimp connectors and wiring harness were made fairly cheaply. This is the thinnest loom I have ever seen and the zip ties were so bad they broke when I tried to close them. Can't comment on the RCA cord because I didn't need it, but it does have a third cord that can be used as a remote turn on cord. I…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have gone with a newer model

The wire is of excellent quality, it seems a bit big.

This is a great cable for the money. Used it to connect a subwoofer to the back of a 2001 Chevy Silverado with an extended cab. This material is thick. It is advertised as an 8 gauge hole but appears to be too big. I had to use a 6 gauge hole on my scrapers to get a clean strip. The package I received lists a maximum rating of 60 amps, which seems to confirm that this is an oversized wire. The insulation was of excellent quality and was easy to work with. Clean energy for my subwoofer and clean

The best value for money here. No doubt

Amazing kit at an amazing price. Enough cable to work with any size car. A remote cable is connected to the RCA cable. I have over 15 complete audio setups using this cable set and it saves the customer time and money at a damn good price. This is good flexible wire. Exactly. There is even a corrugated tube under the hood for the power cable, very nice. If you are looking for a harness that is cheap and performs 85% as well as the best harness, look no further. I docked 15% because higher…

  • So far so good

Do not use the original fuse

The standard fuse is rated at 60A. The maximum capacity of 8 gauge copper wire (not copper plated) is 55 amps. Period. Do not use a 120A fuse. Do not use an 80A fuse. You should not use anything other than a 55A fuse. Unless, of course, you want to increase the chances of your car catching fire. I have no issues with this kit other than fuse performance. Copper Wire >>>>>>> Copper Wire. Never buy copper plates and write negative reviews about the people who sell them…
