Great little chain tool. An essential item in your tool box.

I work a lot with 35, 40 and 41R chains and it gets me fantasies of installing a connecting link, especially on some really tight non-adjustable chain assemblies. Haven't used it for anything bigger yet, but it should work up to 60 steps. Makes my life so much easier. I recommend it to everyone who works with the chain.

Not for #25 chain unless eyelets are modified. Prepare your Dremel.

Too big for #25 chain. The tips just don't fit between the plates. I was able to get it working by carefully sanding the tips, including the correct radius for #25 rollers, and it's working fine now. It probably won't work for the larger chain now, but I only use it with the #25 and #35. I suspect it will be too weak for the much larger chain. When I tighten the #25 chain the knob is quite hard to turn, but for a light chain that's fine. It's hard to believe that that's enough for a chain three

  • Great design

It took both of us 45 minutes to connect one of the circuits (a very short section in a very small space). Later, during the rebuild, I found that the chain had to be removed to make some adjustments to the car. At that time I was looking for this tool and ordered it. I was able to reset the circuit by myself in 3 minutes. I…
