I will never buy a bull leaf

Crap and not close, that's not what you sent me! it ended up costing me more money, it's false advertising because I paid for that rackmount kit because your site showed I was that bull leaf for my car. and I go and see that you changed the page

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Some little things

Good OEM style rubber bushings

(Please note the image shown on the product page is not of this product.) This product contains two "I call them bushings" rubber bushings that are fitted in the cylinders, a metal cylinder that fits into these bushings, a bottom washer that stops on the strut shaft, a washer that comes on top and a nut. I don't like how expensive it is when you have to buy four sets of these.

Pros
  • A few competitors
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

OK, but too thick.: Performance Parts and Accessories

So these rubber parts were much thicker than the stock ones due to the overhang at the top. This made assembly of the posts very difficult as there were only a couple of threads to screw on the top nut. Once tightened, they shrink to the normal thickness of the original parts. However, there were no threads on the back of the shaft to attach the nut. I ended up taking a razor blade to the top hub, cut off the nose, and then I had enough threads to put the nut on and tighten.

This is NOT a bearing/mounting plate. This product is sockets that fit into the mounting plate. To see what it really is, look outside of the Revain SM5058. The product itself, the bushings are easy to install and look high quality. The only issue I had was that the two sockets in the set are slightly different with no explanation as to whether a particular socket should be installed on top of the baseplate, one on the bottom or not. Matter. Edit 10/23/2016: Looks like the image on this article

They are really thick compared to the original "broken " ones in the car.

Bought for the C-pillars of a 2000 Honda CRV. The originals stayed intact, but since I bought them I was able to use them. Being brand new they are really thick. The strut nut could not be screwed on as no threads were left open when used. I even tried squeezing them with the "C" clamp to crush them. Vain. Maybe the original Honda racks had a big thread, didn't think to check it. (New KYB struts installed.) The clock was ticking and I hadn't even finished the first strut. Just left theโ€ฆ

A bad apple in assembly kits

Please remove the image of this item as soon as possible and replace it with the correct one. All you get are 2 very small rubber grommets in the middle of the part pictured. They don't cost a penny and don't solve a single problem. The entire unit must be replaced as shown in the figure. The average price of a device ranges from $25 to $60 depending on the brand and source. I knew the price was wrong, but it could have been a close or something. No no no. This is the first time I'veโ€ฆ

The bushings are of good quality, but PITA installed new ones.

Good quality bushings. Complete with necessary fittings. Ordered a pair from there. 1 order is for 1 side only, so you need to buy 2 to cover both left and right side. or four to cover all corners. Bought these for my 1996 Civic hatchback when I was replacing bad shocks. This is the PITA that needs to be put back in. I considered just using the old bushings, but they were badly worn and I decided to just take on the tedious task of installing them. I had to assemble an old shock with all theโ€ฆ
