Emergency kit add-on

I used 3 of these during a 12 day power outage. In addition to light, they give off heat. I recommend having it in an emergency kit.

Extremely poor workmanship

These lamps are just a joke. Very poor construction, the glass threads are uneven, the metal that screws onto the glass base doesn't stay in place. The glass cone wobbles no matter what settings you make. Made in China. Absolutely not worth your money.

  • Complete set

The servers are assigned

does the job. but cheaply made, won't make it again. You're not sitting up straight. The bottom is like a slight bevel. I opened up one of the two I bought and when I unscrewed the hardware to fill the liquid, the lid came loose on one side. I've also noticed the start of rusting and I think I bought it 2 months ago or less and only used it once. .

I appreciate there can be a few variables when buying glassware. I read all the reviews before buying but bought it anyway. Glass balls are not flimsy as mentioned in other complaints. . They are the usual thickness for this application and fit snugly into the lamps with no play or signs of poor seating. The underside of the lamp is flush and sits firmly on the countertop without the wobble or wobble that others have mentioned. I really like the lights and they will be a staple of my home…

It seems to be the old fashioned oil lamp I wanted.

I wanted an old fashioned oil lamp that we have all over the house I grew up in. I grew up in a house that is now 150 years old. Electricity was added about 80 years ago (before me). I now live in an area where the lights often go out. Not only do I know how to trim the wick for maximum illumination, but also for the large flame that adds the warmth I can get on my finger. Unfortunately the globe is broken. Looks like this is what I was looking for. You can also use citronella in it, the wick…

  • Not as thick as other picks

That depends on your needs

This oil lamp received 4 stars from Revain reviewers. Pretty impressive considering there were a lot of reviews. However, the vast majority of reviews praise the lamp for its looks rather than its performance, reliability and efficiency. Yes it's beautiful. Yes, it is inexpensive. Yes, it's a good "mood" light. But for those who need an oil lamp for more practical use, there are more suitable options. I bought several of these, last purchase was in 2012. I was looking for emergency lighting in…
