This pump is very good but I wouldn't call it 'the best'. We bought it to inflate air mattresses when camping. It's not as quick as the ones we've borrowed before, but obviously it was a lot quicker and easier than the hand pump. It was noisy but not a big deal unless you are in a tent and need to blow something up after dark as it might disturb your tent mates. The air release port is beautiful and convenient, along with adapters. The smaller size makes it a little more attractive for camping.

Four times the pump worked fine, but the fifth time the pump overheated and didn't work. Now there would normally be a star for this, but they warn, run ten minutes, shut down five minutes. My warning: pay attention to the outside temperature. I filled the kiddy pool at 98 degrees, so the pump temp probably won't go down after five minutes rest like I thought. I ordered this to inflate a fitness ball (big ones to sit on). It worked great and was easy to set up and use. It only took me 10 minutes between unpacking and inflating. :-) PROS: -It inflates pretty quickly. I hooked it up to my balloon, turned it on and left the room to get a glass of water.
