They are NOT pre-shrunk so after washing they will shrink to the point where 60" x 80" becomes 55" x 72". After reading about the chemicals used even on organic cotton, I wash everything that's on my body. Because I hope everyone washes their sheets at some point then they are useless for what they are advertised for! I don't know why they sell it like a queen when it's barely full after washing. Either they know what they are and are cheating customers, or they are ignorant.

I can't believe how passionate I am about this duvet cover (mint green comforter behind a cat) it's frankly ridiculous. I used to hate how my sad gray weighted comforter looked on my bed, but now it looks like a fluffy cloud in a tasteful color that goes perfectly with my linens. The fabric is very comfortable and the drawstrings are perfectly aligned to hold the duvet in place. My only recommendation is to have a duvet cover with zippers on two sides for a queen-size comforter or larger. It's a bit of a hassle to connect the perfectly placed straps on the other side opposite the zipper. I like the quality of the weighted blanket and thought the same brand would make an equally good duvet cover. Not as much. Cons: 1) Very light weight fabric compared to what is used in a blanket. This is a problem as only 8 ribbons are sewn into a 15-20 lb duvet. I have a bad feeling it won't be long before at least one tiebreak breaks in one form or another. Good thick fabric, pleasant to the touch. I washed the cover upon receipt (I was so looking forward to using it) without checking how the cover would attach to the weighted blanket.
