I rented a carpet stapler from Home Depot and installed it in about an hour with a little help from my husband at the start to make sure it was even. I took my time, measuring the distance on each side as I walked so as not to stray too far from a straight line. It looks as good as I would hope for a professional install, if I do say so myself.
