Excellent grips and locking rings. Poor screws.

Real handles and locking rings are very good. I put them on my bike, rode for a long time and they were amazing to be honest. Really helped reduce vibration in the steering wheel. I did put them on a bit unevenly though, so when I got home I untied one, adjusted the angle and put it back on. And the screw came loose. After trying to remove the screw I went to the local hardware store to have it replaced and let's just say not many places have a tiny head screw that size. It really is worth…

Handlebars, Headsets & Stems

I bought these grips for my Trikke (not a tricycle but an adult exercise machine, a split platform scooter - google Trikke). Since this is a true HPV (Human Propulsion Vehicle), my hands grip the bar very tightly and push the Trikke around in circles almost constantly, especially uphill. My fingers hurt from touching the handles. Since they were worn out, I looked for new ones. What I like about them is that they're not just old round handles. You have content. They expand so I can press on the

Missed so much!

Almost perfect but did not come with enough hardware. The hex bolt for the handle was about 1/8" too short. Typical of some of these aftermarket items. No matter how hard I squeezed the yoke with my vise, the bolt was too short to grip the opposite end. As a longtime and old collector of gear left over from the life of the builds EVERYTHING is kept and put in the parts bin.Unless of course I had a longer bolt that would fit.If you're not that type of guy then you should be prepared to go to the

Almost Perfect: Parts & Components

I bought these primarily for mountain bikes so I could have seating options and different handlebar grips. in place by some unknown sorcery, it's amazing. Vertical "thickening" of ideal size. What's interesting is the flexibility of the outside of the grip and the camber that almost allows you to increase your power by "recoiling" after bending. It takes a bit of technique. Cons: Not enough padding to be comfortable. It seems designed more for traction (which is fine) than comfort. If they…

Much better than standard grips but with some considerations.

The extended heel of the palm rest is good. Some with soft skin may want to wear gloves as the handles can be a bit chafing on rough skin. It is no problem for me. The expansion handle isn't very useful. If I were to buy them again I would get a similar grip without the extension having access to put a real and adjustable extension on it. They work best with click/trigger switches. I have rotary switches and this type lengthens the handles by an inch and a half, which puts your hand a little…

Great grips! suitable for sports

Excellent grip. I ordered the horned version thinking this style would give me more hand placement options. I won't repeat many of the other good reviews but just wanted to add my 2 cents on two points: Removing the old rubber grips turned out to be a lot easier than I expected given the many other comments on the subject. I found an easy way to remove them. Stand straight in front of you with the old grip and the handlebar will come out perpendicular to you. Working with the handle closest to…
