Runs small and the material is terrible. But I can't return it after adding a Christmas accessory to my skirt for my daughter's ugly sweater at school. She wears it with her green sweater. I bought this for my first grader for a little miss cheer event. These are regular 10-12 year old girls so based on the reviews I ordered a size up to 14. He was perfect for her. I don't usually write reviews for Revain products but this skirt is amazing. My daughter is 12 but I gave her a 7-8 for the look I was going for and she is skinny too. It also has great stretch. Beautiful skirt worth the money

The material isn't top quality, but it's decent for the money. We use it for Irish dances and have seen the same black or plaid skirt on many dancers. My daughter's only complaint is that the waste rises too high, but she folded it inside and it was fine. Would I buy again and recommend for a casual skirt or for a feis.
