Pretty good for live sound and stage

Does what it's supposed to, plugs the mic straight into the USB input. I use it almost every day. I have a good quality vocal mic and use it to connect to my laptop for conference calls as well as an online open mic. Much better than a laptop mic. This interface works perfectly. This introduces some noise, but it's not noticeable in these contexts, but it does show up in the recording. I can't use it to record - it hums. But like I said, it's great for Zoom, Skype etc. It also doesn't seem to…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • boring packaging

It WORKS!: Stage & Studio Cable

I bought this hoping I could use my spare SM57 (dynamic) for conference calling. It's much better than the cheap mic (condenser) I used and since everything was done on a work computer I couldn't install drivers for the USC interface so after reading a lot on the internet I decided to try. Actually I like it a lot. I don't need a sensitive microphone, I just want it to sound good. The mic doesn't pick up my pressure nearly as well as a cheap mic. I actually had to go into the sound settings and

This cable saved the day for a church show together

The app needed to transfer the audio mix from the Soundcraft Impact Board to the PC so it could be combined with the video so our service could be streamed live on Facebook. This cable worked great and did exactly what we needed. 4 stars for sound quality as the broadcast sound was 90% lower than what we recorded on location. Quality of materials was 4 stars because the XLR connector was cheap but strong enough to stay in the aux out on the board. It is a great and easy solution to transfer…

Highly recommended! THIS CABLE WORKS GREAT.

I have an Audio-Tecnica cardioid microphone, before I had this cable I couldn't connect it directly to my computer. Now I can record straight to my computer, this cable works great. And use the same microphone to email, chat, record songs and everything else. This cable plugs and play into WINODWS 10 and took less than five seconds to install. After connecting to the USB port, the green indicator flashes. The other end of the cable is an XLR connector with a 3-pin connector. And this is a good…

Works very well for the price

Bought on a whim, didn't expect great results for around $20 but pleasantly surprised. Having already had some experience and knowledge of preamp circuitry, I didn't test it plugged directly into a mic because for $20 you don't get a high-quality, high-gain, pristine-sounding output signal. Instead, I connected it to the output of my analog mixer (Mackie 1402 VLZ-PRO) and was pleasantly surprised with the results. Of course, my mixer's output clipped the adapter's input slightly, so I had to…
