Best you can get

I've been using these blades for years and have tried them all. None last as long as this one. I make knives and cut 30 to 40 stainless steel blanks a week. A blade cuts 20 no problem. Remember this is the profile of the knife. In a way it's the other way around.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Expandable

Put some cutting wax on it.

By far the best carrying knife I have ever seen. I work in the marine industry and often make stainless steel piers. Made 40 cuts in 1.5" .120 wall pipe and the blade still has some life, usually other brands throw them away after 20.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons

Poor maintenance of power and hand tools

Bought 2 boxes of blades. The first box made over 100 cuts from the same material. Second box made 2 cuts and the blade wore out, next blade made 7 cuts and last one made 10 cuts. Bad character right. I emailed them to get back, they said ok. Get only 50% of the loan. Bad service. It wasn't my fault the blades broke.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Can't cut railroad tie - went through all 3 blades

very frustrating - went through all 3 blades and couldn't cut ANY points! this is madness I'm an amateur and I work with horseshoes and spikes. This is made for VERY THICK metal and nothing goes through 3 blades and not a mandrel. Let's say this could be the reason for the bad batch I used to make about 40 single bladed studs but this was a REAL disappointment from a brand name manufacturer.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some mistakes
