Very fast delivery

food grade mineral oil could not be found locally. I'm so glad I was able to order it through Revain. It was delivered quickly and is great for sprucing up a butcher block.

  • great product
Cons
  • price that beats the piggy bank

Great product at Wood Polish & Care

We installed meat block countertops and the wood was left in place. So my husband made cutting boards and we used this product and it was fantastic. So easy to use. I recommend it to several people.

Pros
  • Multiple competitors
Cons
  • Damaged

Crap Customer "Service "

The security seal, which ironically reads "sealed for your protection", was just floating, not glued on. Called the company twice to raise concerns but never got a response. However. Returned it to Jic.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Lid came off during shipping. Chaotic!

I'll write more later when I see what my granite sink looks like in the morning. Mineral oil arrived today. The lid in the package was loose so I lost about 2 ounces out of 16 ounces. Good thing it was in a plastic bag. Big mess!

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Not sure

Protect your cutting boards from splinters/mold

Bought bamboo cutting boards to replace wooden ones that had mold and slight cracks and decided to give all my wooden boards a little pampering. I gave them two coats at a time and another about a week later, they all got wet.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons

Great product for wooden cutting boards.

The main reason I ordered this product is because it is food grade mineral oil which is safe for wooden cutting boards. I applied the oil and left it on overnight, wiped it off the next morning and the cutting boards look great. I will continue to use mineral oil on my cutting boards.

Pros
  • Ideal for cutting boards, chopping blocks and wooden utensils
Cons
  • Disappears

Protects wood from food

I have used this mineral oil on some of the wood putty knives I make. The oil enhances the deeper color of the wood and protects the wood from cooking oils. It does the job I bought it for. It is easy to apply and prevents anything from sticking to the spatulas. When the spatulas are washed, they are not soaked in water with detergent, but washed, rinsed and dried. I will oil again after a few washes. I apply about four coats of oil before first use.

Pros
  • Colorless, tasteless and odorless
Cons
  • Not automatic

It is very suitable for cleaning stainless steel.

I bought this mineral oil to protect my new stainless steel pan and keep it clean. The pan looked so good when I used this oil that I cleaned my stainless steel sink with it. The forty-year-old sink now looks almost new. It's odorless and the larger bottle is thin enough to stand next to the faucets on the kitchen sink. Very little is required for cleaning. WARNING: This is NOT for drinking as stated on the label. It's great for what it claims to be.

Pros
  • Safe on all wooden surfaces
Cons
  • I will add later
