Mishimoto Racing Thermostat (MMTS-JED-06L) for Dodge Charger/Challenger Hemi, 2006-2019. Review

I have a 2014 Dodge Challenger. r/t, 5.7. There are no differences to the standard thermostat. But it's easy to install. The default only works half, this one works a little less than half, it works about 45 minutes after installation. There is no check engine light. The car works fine. So far so good, will update if anything changes.

First, you need 93 with 180 user ringtones/email ringtones to take full advantage of these stats. Yes, it keeps my temperature. below 193 and no more than 184 degrees. Even when I use the 5 speeds on my SRT8 09 Challenger it revs up a bit to 205 and then immediately drops to 184 degrees. Even the data logging, the temperature actually shows that the stats are working fine with hemifever's custom setting. Good product.

We blew up our Hemi, ordered a 195 degree thermostat for a restored engine but the seller sent us 203 and I didn't check before putting it in brought to the workshop! During break-in, the car warmed up more than I wanted, so I ordered this 180 Stat. Was shocked (and angry) when I spotted the 203. After installing this thermostat, the engine will be much happier and will not smell "hot" when shut off after driving. Highly recommended, let the engine last longer.

The item came a day late, but that's no problem. Installs in less than 7 minutes, remember to hold the pin straight up! Keeps the vehicle well below the factory 203 degrees. With the OEM I got 210-215 in stop and go traffic. With the new stats it stays under 200 without having to adjust the fan time in traffic. Driving on the freeway is just under 180. Once you tweak the stats and other mods, it's a lifesaver in the Florida heat. If there are any changes I will update!
