Great tool for my shop! We are a brake shop and bleeding the brakes is a daily job here. Pressure bleeding is our normal procedure, however not every vehicle can be bled. That's where this tool comes in - for manual pumping. It's nice to know that you have a 40-ounce backup of brake fluid on the master cylinder reservoir instead of constantly stopping the bleed to check the fluid level. Yesterday I bled the brakes and clutch on my 2003 VW Jetta using this kit. I used Ate (German) low viscosity DOT4 fluid from a 1 liter can and none of the supplied bottle adapters fit so I used the supplied bottle which worked fine. The supplied base, which is attached to the main cylinder, also did not fit because the main cylinder bore was too small for it. Overall this is a good machine and I would buy it again. That's probably exactly what you need, but please read on so you can learn from my experience. The first thing I didn't like. I strongly recommend not using adapters to dispense brake fluid directly from a retail bottle. That's why. Includes a pair of adapters for standard brake fluid bottles.
