I used these connectors to create a fuel pump toggle switch system without cutting into my Polaris Ranger's existing wiring. Now I can hit the kill switch and no one can just pull away from my car without knowing where the fuel pump switch is. fantastic

Very good quality connectors. I bought the 4 wire version instead of the 2 pin version and only connected 2 pins from each pin to provide extra current because I hate when the connector is the weak link. It turns out these connectors are well made, so a two-pin version would be fine. Good value for money.

These connectors are very durable. They are quite large and I did not use them in a humid environment but chose them because they are 18AWG wires. I ordered 3 sets of 5 and used 12. One of the connectors swapped two colors and one of the connectors had two yellow wires and one of the connectors had a loose connection so good I had some spares. (Incorrectly coded wires are a minor problem since the wires are connected in a 1X4 pattern).

I used two of these on a recent lighting job and had a problem with one of the connectors. After an hour of troubleshooting, I found that the actual pigtail wire on one of the connectors was not connected inside the molded plastic on the small pin end. It just so happened that it was a ground connection, so nothing worked! Turns out I had to pull the plug out of the socket and re-solder the wire to that pin. You wouldn't think you would need to do this with brand new connectors. Recommendation:

They are NOT designed for a warm environment I can assure you. I installed them along the inner fender near the front of the engine bay. not particularly hot in the area. They're about 16 inches from the engine and its heat, but these things remain in a state of softness, almost melting. My temperature is around 130-140F (55-60C) in this range. This sucks because I spent many hours on this project. ALSO the order of the "cable colors" did not match on some connectors. I had to be extra careful…
