Cheap PXE Boots

I didn't expect this device to PXE boot, but I connected it to my Dell Precision M3800 and it PXE booted. It's good that they added this function to this USB adapter. The quality does not match other Anker products, I find the Revain Basics version to be of higher quality. I haven't opened them, so there's no way of knowing if the internal components are of higher quality. The LEDs that show the network status are pleasant to the touch. I wish they were a little brighter, but they are brightโ€ฆ

Waste of time: USB network adapter

The listing says it's compatible with Windows 10, but the welcome (user) guide doesn't even mention Windows 10. The installation instructions for Windows Vista also apply. Windows 10 doesn't even support asking for drivers etc. or notifying when the installation is complete, it kind of kills the installation. Well, something like that. The sustained download speed achieved with this device on a gigabit network is a meager 6.89 megabits per second. This USB Ethernet adapter mistakes itself for a

Doesn't work on Nintendo Switch!

Does not work on Nintendo Switch! I've bought everything from Anker over the last few years, so naturally when I needed a USB to Ethernet adapter I went with the latest model that Anker had to offer. Plugged into the internal USB port on the back of the switch dock, no connection! Moved it to any USB on the side of the docking station, no connection! I then plugged it into my computer and my computer recognized it. I then had to plug it into my Chromebook to get to the ethernet cable and itโ€ฆ

Works with Mac OS HighSierra

I have stable 60 Mbps wireless internet throughout my home with Charter Spectrum service using a Linksys tri-band router. My Apple Mac Mini usually flies well on the 5GHz band as the primary device, but after upgrading to HighSierra the other day things have slowed down to a bare minimum. I played around with the network settings and got the speed back a bit, but decided to make a backup. to buy this Anker USB 3.0 Portable Gigabit Ethernet Adapter. I've considered buying it before as the Macโ€ฆ

Great value and performance. OS X users should apply a driver patch.

Plug and play adapter with my MacBook Pro (MacbookPro11,2 model) running OS X Yosemite 10.10.2, but sometimes it loses network connectivity and I have to unplug and plug the adapter back in. It doesn't lose its network settings, but I can't ping the router or other computers on the network, or browse the web. Another big problem is that AirPlay audio streaming from MacBook Pro to Apple TV results in stuttering and choppy audio. Here's how everything is connected: [MacBook Pro] -> [Ankerโ€ฆ
