Great square for the price

Love this item. Along with my magnetic protractor, this makes it very easy and quick to set up a perfectly flat table saw blade. According to my other verification tools, it's extremely accurate.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Fits

Not exactly at all

The exit from the square should be a perfect 90 degrees, but it's closer to 95 because it doesn't really matter when it's 2 inches long, it matters when. You use it to mount a 24" long light fixture, that's a big difference.

Square but not smooth surface that may confuse you

The product looks quite square but has a very rough surface with small dents and burrs all over. I think for a cheap square under $15 it will do. Although somehow carelessly done.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Lots of things

Very accurate. Good product

I am a welder/fitter. I use this machine square to draw precise lines on various types of metal to get a precise cut. Paying attention to detail is very important in my work and this tool makes it easy.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Precise and inexpensive

I am very satisfied and would give 5 stars except for the very sharp edges. After sanding down all the sharp edges with 320, then 800 and finally 1200 grit paper, it feels quite comfortable in the hand. The accuracy seems to go into the money. Overall I'm happy with the purchase and wholeheartedly recommend this little square to anyone who doesn't mind saving a little to save money.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable

Square Deal: Measuring & Marking Tools

I wanted a small square next to my 5 inch disc/belt sander. I change belts and pads often, so I always wanted to have a square on hand. I compared it to my other squares and it seemed square in both the inside and outside corners. I only use it for home and hobby use so I can't say it's accurate enough for precision machining, but it suits my needs. The finish wasn't perfect, but a few minutes with a buffing rod knocked off a few small burrs. It's a good deal for the price and if I damage it or
