Better than digital switch

I use it as a USB switch for a keyboard on multiple computers (one keyboard input, PC outputs). I bought this having previously bought one of the standard multi in/out digital switches and prefer this one. Its biggest advantages are how quickly it switches between inputs, and because it feels analog, there are no weird bugs. The downsides are that it uses USB-A ports, its ports aren't deep enough to fully seat (it's not a problem with their output, they just don't flush), and it only has one…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Long wait

SUDDENLY PERFECT FIT, WORKS GREAT FOR MY AUDIO MIX!

To be honest I didn't think anything good would come of this device. I was looking for a USB 2.0 Type B hub but couldn't find one. However, the switches I've seen so far (including this one) have had an undesirable entry/exit direction set. Look for at least one USB 2.0 input with 2 TYPE B OUT. But it was the opposite. However, when I was looking for something different, I added this with no expectations. think it's only $8 and worst case he ruins it. But BOY! Am I wrong? Not only did it sit…

  • New
Cons
  • No paint needed

Simple and functional.

Not much to say, a simple device that serves its purpose. I like the mechanical "click" of the switch, it feels like a peep. The block itself is very light, be sure to secure it with double sided tape or screws or something if you don't want it to slide, or just hold it with your hand while toggling it back and forth. I just plugged it into the printer used for the switch.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • There are some nuances

Very easy; You provide your own cables

This is a very simple mechanical USB A/B switch that allows you to use one peripheral between two computers. I use it to switch a webcam between laptop and desktop and it works great for that. The peripheral device can also be a scanner, printer or any USB device. It comes without a cable. You need to provide TWO USB A/B cables (old type, square end) to connect your PC to the switch and one cable to connect the switch to your device. You may already have some old USB A/B cables from an old…

Perfect Time Saver goes well with hubs

This was perfect for what I needed. When I first started working from home, I kept switching my printer from my PC to my work computer. I was able to access the printer's ports easily, but it was still a hassle. This simple little box allowed me to connect a printer and then both computers. Now switching printers between computers is as easy as pressing a button!

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Not all fit
