Had to send De-Solv-It back

As a former De-Solv-It user who couldn't find it at our hardware store. Was glad to see it online. The formula of this product had such an unpleasant smell of oil that stayed on the clothes, so I decided to return to the seller. How I wish I could find an old genuine product, this was a fantastic stain remover and no smell after use.

Pros
  • Quick release fastener, effective at removing liquid insulation
Cons
  • Some cons

Bad Oil Smell Won't Go Away

I accidentally washed and dried clothes with a tube of lipstick. I used this product on all of the lipstick stains and washed the entire load with soap and hot water. Now the clothes have lipstick and a bad smell of oil that I can't get out. This is my sixth wash and if the smell is still there I throw it all away. We're talking about 2 bras, 4 shorts, a pair of pants, shirts, etc. Everything is lost to the oily smell of this product that does not fade. Much worse than lipstick.

Pros
  • Safe On Skin & Hair.
Cons
  • Communication with seller

The best product!

My husband is a roofer. At his old place of work, he was offered this product after work to wash off dirt, roofing residue, etc. These are all incredibly difficult to remove without the right product. His new job doesn't have that product. He's tried buying other products that promise to remove the same thing, but it doesn't happen. I was looking for a contractor thinner because it's the only product that works. He is very satisfied and will never use anything else again.

Pros
  • Safe for skin and hair.
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Great for removing glue but buy a larger size

We had old floor tiles in our basement. Having spent several hours removing the tiles, little did I know that the most difficult task was ahead - removing the rough black adhesive. We don't have good ventilation in our basement, so I wanted to avoid anything that gives off extremely toxic fumes. I've tried TSP with very little success (lots of scratching and few rip-offs). I also tried a heat gun - the hair dryer started smoking after 5 minutes and the glue hadn't softened. Of course, I…

Pros
  • Quick remover effective for removing liquid insulation
Cons
  • Out of style
