OXO Good Grips Half Scoop Review

I've been eating a lot of oatmeal and needed a measuring spoon that fits in a glass and measures the amount of oatmeal I'm cooking. That's great! Durable, easy to use and lightweight.

I didn't think it was possible to spoil such a simple product, but this spoon doesn't even have a size mark. It was clearly not intended to be bought separately (it has a built in component that can be bound to something else that it isn't). Bad product - not recommended.

I'm reviewing this review for both the scoop and the bin but chose the scoop because that's why I bought it. I bought these for oatmeal as I found it more difficult to remove the pouch and measuring cup and the way it attaches to the lid is very convenient and everything stays fresh in the container. It's the little things in life that you appreciate, I think.

We use it to scoop dog food out of glass containers to feed our small dogs. It fits perfectly in a storage container (2.5 gallon anchor jar with lid) and leaves room for one hand holding a scoop to retrieve from the container neck (hole width 6 5/8 inches). Don't think it will discolour, crack or go rancid Easy to clean (I did before use) Just wish AMAZON would stop shipping 1 or 2 small items in a huge box with stacks of these air cushions that won't hold anything in place.
