They have no motion sensor, the remote works perfectly, they are as bright as you would expect from rechargeable flashlights. The brightness can also be adjusted, which is nice. Use them to light up a long hallway at night where the house isn't wired.

Bought a set and 1 bulb didn't work from the start. I received a partial refund. The next time we tried to use them, we were left with one. When they work, the light is perfect for a dark entryway. I needed bright, but not too bright, lighting in the area behind the theater seats in my break room. We can now turn off the overhead lights to dim the screen for the movie while still having enough light to see other things. This product is a waste of money! I bought 4 sets for the under cabinet lighting in the kitchen. Each light and remote control requires 4 batteries, so batteries are an investment! After the light came on several times in no more than an hour or so, the light stopped working one by one. Then I bought 64 brand new batteries. The same thing happened in less than a couple of hours of use. In the end I decided it wasn't the batteries. I would like my money back but I don't know how to do that now…

Two features: (1) Remote control instead of automatic on/off motion detection. Reasons: I like the idea of turning the lights on before entering an area and I might want the lights to stay on after I exit. This is all the more important as I plan to use one of the units as emergency lighting in a small hallway.
