Where is the expiry date

I received two packs of batteries, they were taped together and the pack looked quite old. The front of the box says the expiration date is printed on the battery, but there is no expiration date anywhere. I'm guessing these are old, old batteries and I haven't seen any other purchases of batteries without an expiration date. I will definitely not buy these again.

Pros
  • Shipping was very fast
Cons
  • Crumpled

good price zinc-carbon batteries

I need zinc-carbon batteries for my two clocks and for my TV remote control. The reason I need them for the clock is because they don't put out as much voltage as alkaline batteries, although they both say 1.5 volts the carbon zinc cell won't burn the clock. Expensive clocks have resistors to prevent burnout, while cheap clocks require carbon-zinc batteries. I haven't had these batteries for a very long time but they work well and I expect them to last a long time, very happy with my purchase.

  • nice

You'll probably need it πŸ€™

I had no idea carbon batteries existed and that many low-drain devices like clocks require such a battery. Beware folks as many products are made in China and use different standards. You used to just buy ordinary alkaline batteries, but not anymore. Surprisingly, several items that I thought were broken after replacing the batteries with these carbon ones like they are in my other watches now work. Really odd why they never stressed the need for this type of battery for things like this. In…
