Great replacement for my pop up

It only requires a hammer to install but I had to hit mine pretty hard to get it working. Tapping around did nothing. I still give it 5 stars because I suspect the problem was more with my wheels than the hubcaps. Excellent value for money, just the thickness I expected as a replacement.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Hold on, hold on!

Two hits with a flat landscaping stone ensure these dust covers fit snugly. I can't take them off with my hands, which means they won't fly off the road. Don't use a rubber mallet or 2x4 to install them. I've made this mistake before and you ruin the curled ends after a few swipes. Use a brick!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Compatibility

Had lost one on a trailer and needed a quality replacement!

One I shot in the mountains so I ordered this one. They come in pairs - measure before purchasing to ensure you get the correct size. Rubber mallet and a few whacks - back in business. This one is solid - it doesn't feel free or cheap. The rubber bushing can be easily removed for bushing lubrication.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • No gun

Does not meet requirements - does not fit - do not buy

Too large - does not meet requirements - cannot be used. The specs say 1.98 OD. Current parts outside 1,990. My old baseball caps are worth 1,980 in cash. It can't be that 10,000 more equals the right fit. Impossible to install without damaging the covers. So disappointing. I cannot recommend these caps. Maybe "fits most" but not my standard Dexter 3500. Bought last month pending installation once I return my trailer. Last 30 days. Can't return but that's no problem. Stay healthy friends.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Reliability

Exactly what I needed!

I bought new hubs and bearings for my boat trailer last year but they came with all metal hub caps which make re-greasing almost impossible. I prefer these because I have an axle with grease fittings on the ends and they make it easy to access the grease fittings without tools. but once installed, they make relubrication easier. Item was exactly as described, well packaged and arrived in perfect condition.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive

Poor quality control

Be careful with that. I only bought two so I can't say how many. However, the former would not penetrate the wheel hub, care should be taken not to apply too much pressure and deform it. I just wouldn't get into the hub. So the magnifying glass comes out. Of course, the leading edge was slightly twisted. The second one looked perfect and of course matched the hub perfectly. So, a small amount of dressing on the first small file and it fits perfectly, bingo. So be aware, if they don't fit with…

Pros
  • Build quality
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Wouldn't buy again Flown all the time.

I bought these caps to replace the one that flew off the bike. As it came in a pack of two I thought that would be great as I only needed one and can keep one on the boat as a spare. After the first two rides, the cover came off while driving down the road. I used a rubber mallet to put the cap back on and when you put it on it feels very snug and I figured I wouldn't have any problems so I put another one on when the first one flew off and stumbled over the second again First. came off easily.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Expensive
