Poorly processed junk

Cheap junk sums up this tool box. The threads on the bell break on the first pass, only flaring up the soft COPPER! What if I fired steel cables? The thread is too thin and the metal in the pot is too cheap. AutoZone has a higher quality version in terms of value for money. There is one good item in this tool kit, the pipe bender is good, no complaints. The flare rig is cheap, with tight tolerances, poor metal, and chamfers on both sides, although on one side it looks more like a chamfer that…

  • Suitable for workshop, home or field work

Literally terrible quality. The bolts holding the clamps together sheared off when I tightened them enough to pinch a piece of brake line so I could flare it out. I replaced it with a screw I had lying around. The handle then came loose from the cutter on the third piece of brake line I cut. So I bought a decent cutter. Then the flare tool - the pointy end of the metal that flares the line - somehow cuts off inside the piece of brake line, so it's now a blunt end and I have a broken piece of…

Not worth the money

This kit is overpriced and designed horribly. This is lower quality than the $25 tube torch I used before. Brake lines will slip through the fork from day one no matter how tight it is (even using a lever wrench on the wing nuts to tighten them more). Even if I can start flaring on the line I will end up with a crooked flaring and there is nothing I can do to get a clean flaring. handle"crawled" only after a few cuts. I could keep using it but I have to hammer the handle back onto the shaft and

Pros
  • Will also fit many spring shocks

  • Can't remember but there was something
