Brought my ironing board back to life

My ironing board's old lining was so worn that the board's metal pattern printed onto my shirts as I ironed it. I was about to buy a brand new board when my friend told me to just replace the pad with this one. Better than the original. Five stars.

My ironing board is very happy now! like my clothes.

My ironing board is now very happy! Just like my clothes. That's a really nice thick pillow. Very easy and pleasant to cut with good scissors and easy to apply to the slab. I would recommend cutting it a little wider than you might think in every way. Maybe a quarter inch. Very happy. Get one so you can be happy too.

  • Pleasant to use

This is great gear! This ironing pad makes your ironing board or surface so much better! This greatly reduces the amount of time and effort required to get your fabric smooth enough. I gave up fighting an ironing board full of towels or ripped mattress covers long ago in the remotest hope of getting the job done without going through each piece at least 3 or 4 times! I used a small wool square to iron my small sewing projects, I used it to iron shirts and other clothing items, it took a littleโ€ฆ

This Rdutuok wool rug was supposed to be 3/8" thick but it's only ยผ". I'm attaching photos , showing the dimensions, and also next to a gray wool rug that is actually 3/8" thick. It's also quite soft and compressible. I definitely wouldn't trust this ab mat, but it will probably work well as a mat. to cover the ironing board. I will use it under another wool rug to give my table some protection. I'm a bit disappointed with this as all my other Revain wool rugs have been superb. As a parent ofโ€ฆ

Makes a really good ironing surface

I like the ironing pad so far. I can really tell the difference in the quality of the things I press. I'm sure it will take a long time. Cutting is a bit tricky due to the thickness, you need good sharp scissors for that!

Pros
  • Easy to attach
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
