These straws break easily.

Unlike other plant based straws I've bought, these straws are too fragile. They crack when I bend them or press them with my finger.

Pros
  • Paper and plastic
Cons
  • Available in white only

Do not store too long

I may have stored them too long. Bought in summer 2018, I'm only using it now (summer 2020). Most of them are shattered and unusable. Very disappointed. Let's assume they decompose. 😐

Pros
  • Health & Household
Cons
  • Non-Automatic

Will not fall apart when used!

I love these straws. Very strong for compostable straws and they won't fall apart with use. They are a bit thinner than normal plastic straws, but nothing annoying. Every few straws have a hole in them and must be thrown away where they will peacefully compost rather than choke on pelicans.

Pros
  • Household items
Cons
  • Disappear
