Ordinary measuring wheel. But forget about using the coaster on anything other than the sidewalk. Not a precise measuring tool, but fits fairly accurately.

So far so good! However, the plastic that holds the stand up or down looks like it might wear out after repeated use, but that's by no means a deal breaker. 99% of the time I just stand. The telescopic handle and everything else on the steering wheel is great.

I bought this to measure running distances for training and racing. I took it to the 500m calibration line and it was within a meter. (Average 501+-0.7) I suspect most of the variance is due to me. It folds conveniently for storage and the meter is easy to read, although you have to bend down to read it. The kickstand is adequate, although it might not work on a soft surface.
