Works very well. I'm a real estate appraiser and I use it every day to measure the outside of a house. It's perfect and the telescoping pole makes it easy to carry around the house while I do my research. I've been using it for about 8 months now.

Used to measure areas of my lawn before applying lawn chemicals. This tool worked on smooth concrete (driveway, sidewalks) as well as bumpy, uneven lawns. Just walk slowly and make sure the measuring wheel touches the ground. I ran each measurement at least twice and they were pretty stable.

As a physical therapist in the ER I really like this wheel! It folds down to 1 to 1.5 feet so I can take it anywhere and measure how far each patient has gone since we are always in different parts of the hospital. The measurements are reliable and consistent with other measuring wheels we have in our clinic.

Exactly yes, simply yes. The only problem is that the handle stretches like most wheel measuring tools and didn't snap on my FIRST TIME USE. It worked for a minute, I folded it and realized I needed one more dimension and wouldn't block it again. So I had to hold it on the ground and crouch to use it. Cannot recommend this item.

I had to measure a temporary winter fence and it worked. It's a little shorter than I expected. I'm not particularly tall and have to bend down to use it. So unless you're a kid I don't see how you would use it if you're going straight. A small issue that will probably be addressed in the description. You don't even have to deduct a star. I probably should have read the description better. All in all a great product.

Good materials and workmanship. However, the shaft is too short and this causes the average person to lean forward, making it difficult to focus on the bike's linear motion and possibly causing back pain as well. I also bought a reputable 100ft tape measure and tested the wheel's accuracy at 50ft as measured with a tape measure, three rigorous tests. The wheel is less than 1 foot in 50. I returned the wheel.

I bought this because I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I would only use a couple of times and it fits. The instructions say it's not for outdoor use but I used it carefully on hard ground and it worked great. Cleaned it up and everything is fine. Can't report accuracy because I was pacing up and down rocky terrain, but it looked close to my rough guess. It's built quite well and should hold up for years of casual use. I think it's a pretty good tool.

Very durable. The ball bearing is smooth but I find that the band can loosen a bit. Thought it was me at first, but checked with a laser, and my wheel score is 2/10 down for every 10ft roll. It doesn't matter for my purposes, but other rim tapes I've had have been more accurate. Wanted to upgrade this to 5 stars as I think the inaccuracy I saw was operator error and not the tape.
