Good temporary solution

When we were cleaning the house, we stupidly left some things on the porch. Somehow this attracted a raccoon who broke through the screen to get there. We thought it was a great idea for a screen tear or hole situation when we saw it in Shark Tank a few years ago. Unfortunately, this only works as a temporary solution. It was easy to apply, I just used a hair dryer. It's pretty obvious visually, but it will close the hole. It started opening after 2 weeks. We live in South Florida but it's not…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

I think it will be a great product with little manufacturer customization.

This product looks like a screen, the holes are the same size. I got it because some of the adhesive stuck to the back when I peeled it off (very slowly and carefully) and it didn't fully melt to stick to the screen I was repairing. But it's much better than a cracked screen. Also, use a safety pin or two to line up the holes in the screen with the holes in the patch. I didn't and it arrived a little crooked. It's still hard to see unless you're looking for it, but I think it would be invisible

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Frequency

I would buy good screens again

Like most, I came here after seeing this product in the shark tank. I have 1 screen broken on the 2nd floor of my house. The screen tear is right at the bottom, making it difficult to fully turn on the screen - but - it seems to have done an acceptable job. Why 4 stars? The molding chemical has not completely melted. I can still see the balls on the product but it seems to have melted enough to stick to the screen. Either the product has expired or it's a semi-bad batch (that's my guess). I'm…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Best for attaching dark window grilles. Flexible material is hard.

My results were mixed, but the bottom line is that I used it when going through a screen door. It uses magnets to close in the center and is made from a very flexible, thin fiberglass fabric. Because of this flexibility and frequent movement, the patches often had to move. Instructions say to use a hair dryer set on a high volume of hot air and hold it 1 inch from the patch. The high setting of this hairdryer's heat was so hot it often melted the fabric, so I used a low setting and kept the fan

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • negative impression
