Overheating Supported - ILLEGAL

The power supply could not provide enough constant power to run my 3D printer. The 3D printer reaches a temperature, then the power supply overheats and reduces performance, causing the temperature of the 3D printer to drop. This made the power supply unusable for me.

Failed within 24 hours: power converter

My 100w unit ran for 24 hours and then shut down. Of course, I assumed there was something wrong with the device, so I took it apart first before realizing that the problem was power related. Very light loads greatly reduced the tension. They just don't think a new PSU will be a problem. On the plus side, they immediately agreed to refund my money. Let's see if that happens.

Good so far Best in Power Accessories

I needed to replace the power transformer in my cheap tool box. Includes 2 car speakers and head unit. It only has enough power to turn on the screen, but it turns off when I try another function. I chose this transformer because it had twice the current. I had to change the output jack but it plays music again and has enough power to drive 2 more speakers!

Great to have an adapter for easy connection

I bought this power supply to power my cold plate cooler for my system. Nice to see that this power supply comes with an adapter for easy connection to my device. save me time Many Thanks. Update: I've used this power supply a few times to power my 12v device. It worked but generated a lot of heat. Feels very hot after each use. I had a feeling it might be an inefficient power supply in the design.

Defective adapter suitable for power converter

The supplied DC adapter with socket was defective. No current will flow on the negative/ring side of the connector. The converter provided the correct voltage. Aside from reading current and not current with my meter, I haven't used a converter to power anything. I emailed the seller asking if I could get another female adapter but they never responded so I refunded all the money and ordered another brand.

Overhead and false alarm output

I bought this item on 02/28/2020. I use it to cool a monocam that needs 12V/5A peak. The first few sessions were fine. It started showing overheating and would turn off my camera from time to time. I spent a lot of time to determine that the problem is with this adapter. I got so frustrated that I wasted my precious dark time on it, especially after driving for several hours. As soon as I switched to a different power, the problems disappeared. I have already exceeded the return deadline. Iโ€ฆ

Fine if you don't overdo it

UPDATED: I think this adapter works fine as long as you don't overload it. This will damage it. But Revain should remove it from the 160W pico power supply recommendation list. ---------- ----------- --------- I don't know why this product has such high ratings. I'm overheating like crazy. I bought it because Revain recommended using it with a 160W Pico PSU, although there is little point in using a 120W AC/DC PSU for a 160W Pico PSU . It overheats like crazy in just an hour. I don't feel safeโ€ฆ

It worked fine for a few months, but now the power supply pulses every few seconds.

This is the second shnitpwr power supply I have purchased. Each was different for 2 separate applications. I bought this model to power a 12v water pump. It worked great for a couple of months, but just yesterday I went to my shop where it's installed and found that it was turning the power on and off every second or two. I hope the current pulses at an unknown level. Time did not destroy the water pump that he powered, for every time the current pulsed, he turned the pump on. Luckily I'm still
