🌊 Efficient Shoreline Marine Bilge Pump Plumbing Kit: Includes 5 Feet of 3/4 Inch Hose Review

3/4" I ordered the cheap bilge pump that was offered when I bought it. I ordered that too. It cost almost the same as the pump. The pump doesn't have a hose size indication. red and white-blue hold 1100 gph is 1.1/8" ID, thanks for the confusion azone. I have to return the damn thing now.

I bought a 12 volt bilge pump and this hose kit immediately became a recommended addition. Since I need a drain hose, I thought the recommended option would be a good choice... NO! A 1" ID drain hose is required for the bilge pump; this kit has a 3/4" ID hose. Disappointing that the 'recommended' hose didn't work with the pump.

I installed this set years ago and it has worked well. The bulkhead is not leaking, neither are the hose connections, so everything is fine. Last winter the mice gnawed at the tube in several places, so I'm replacing it with this kit. It's a thin-walled tube that worked well, but since mice see it as a snack, I may need to swap it out for something more resilient.

I bought this hose to replace my 20 year old hose on my boat (it was in storage for 13 years so I wanted to be sure). I removed the old hose (also not that easy to get) and pulled this out of the box. It was very comfortable and compresses easily so I put it back in the box. Unfortunately I've had it for a while before opening it, so I can't return it. I wouldn't recommend this, check your local marina as you can probably buy the best tube on the leg.
