Description of ๐Ÿ’พ Silicon Power 512GB NVMe M.2 PCIe Gen3x4 2280 TLC SSD SP512GBP34A60M28 - High-Performance Solid State Drive

PCIe Gen 3x4 interface with read speeds up to 2,200MB/s and write speeds up to 1,600MB/s. TBW=300. The custom screw should come with the motherboard or PC. Please acquire the screw from your motherboard or PC Manufacturer, if needed. To support a Silicon Power PCIe SSD, the system must have an M.2 connector with only an M key. The Silicon Power PCIe SSD does not have a B notch and therefore, the B key on the SSD connector will prevent it from being inserted. The warranty terms on all of its SSDs are based on whether the warranty length or TBW limit occurs first.

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

Choose from cheap ones. Controller SM2263TX, memory 29F04T4ANCQK1, but no information on it, possibly from Intel. In addition, I purchased a small radiator-plate with rubber bands. I do not recommend using the native system transfer utility from SP, not a good experience, it is better to install a new system or proven cloning programs.

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

Pros: It seems to be normal, but the speed is less than on a regular disk, I bought it as an additional disk for storing files and installing heavy programs. Has some cons The speed is less than on a standard disk - it's not critical, it's not particularly noticeable during operation, it's the most for your money.

No m.2 screw in data storage

Will adding m.2 screw together with SSD really ruin this company's profits? I'm sure this would eliminate angry customers like me having to go out and buy an m.2 screw (usually a full set) to screw this thing in.

Pros
  • Wide choice
Cons
  • For retirees

Quality M.2 at a fair price

Aimed at the average user. It is very difficult to give meaningful feedback. Talking about random RW speeds, throughput, etc. is meaningless to the average person, right?โ€ Let me summarize instead. It works very well for me, just as intended. The packaging was simple but secure. exactly ZERO problems with it from installation to date. On that basis I approve of this product and if you think it's something for you say "Try it". Life is short. Why not?

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Died after only 3 weeks of use, save yourself the headache

I bought this SSD in June and didn't bother installing it until earlier this month. Worked very well until it accidentally died on me after 3 weeks of use. This is highly unacceptable for any storage medium and resulted in me losing everything I had installed on the drive. I'm trying to either get my money back or a replacement but I haven't heard a response from the company yet. Spend $10-15 more and buy something more reliable.

Pros
  • Annual trial period
Cons
  • Frequency

Great Budget Disc for Hackintosh

I put together a budget hackintosh for video editing and searched the internet for the best deal on a budget disc. Obviously it's not as popular as Critical, Samsung or WD so I was a bit skeptical. I've only been using it for a few months, but it's easy to install, recognized immediately, formatted flawlessly, and installed the operating system with no problems. I've been using OSX Mojave for a few months, installed most of the Adobe suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere, etc.), edited photosโ€ฆ

The price is ok

The price is ok. That's why I've attached the benchmark image. After installation and formatting. That's 1.81GB, not 2TB. 2TB depends on marketing. I expected at least 1.91 GB. But I'll take it. Let's see how long this baby lasts. I use this as storage. I know that's too much for NVME storage. Will not shatter above 62ยฐC. Maybe I should have paid another $20 and bought a Samsung. But hey, they all buy Samsung and Micron SSD chips. So shrug, but depending on the quality. The best SMD chips areโ€ฆ

Pros
  • New in my collection
Cons
  • Very expensive

Disappointed DOA in data store

I liked the reviews I read so I ordered it. Revain failed to deliver on time, which should have been a warning sign of my luck. As it arrived late I immediately installed it on my laptop as I am preparing for a trip and I know my laptop is very low on memory. Well after installation my laptop would not turn on, no power at all. Looks like I burned my two month old laptop and need to go back to my old work laptop for the trip. AVOID THIS PRODUCT! I could buy the same size Wester Digital driveโ€ฆ

Great budget drive Bought 3 so far and all work well

I've bought SP SATA drives before but in 2020 I tried their NVME drives for the first time. I've tried pretty much every type of NVME drive and controller combo and seen all sorts of price points. When I bought this drive I wanted an affordable NVME portable laptop drive with my search criteria: a drive that is 2-3x faster than SATA but not as expensive as a Samsung 970 Pro. This drive is for you. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: Cheap (less than $0.11/GB), Reliable (I've had 3 this year onโ€ฆ
