Too big oral pain relief

I have this in the smallest size and the front part is still too big. It sticks out of my mouth. Until I went to the trouble of sending it back and paying the shipping costs it wasn't worth it. If you have a small mouth, it's too big. It's also a bit too fat. Maybe it's because it's too big for me. I do not know. Although I'm disappointed.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Protection

Better than my custom TMJ/bruxism mouthguard

Better than my $270 professional hard plastic TMJ/bruxism mouthguard. The plastic is soft, I've never had a mouth ulcer from it. No, no matter how I train at night, no pieces come off and I'm not afraid of choking on the pieces or the guards themselves. I recommend this to all my friends and family and I wish I knew about this before my parents spent so much money on a silly custom mouthguard, teeth extraction and teeth shaving for me when I was younger.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Defective

RELAXING JAWS AT WORK IS HERE!

I was grinding my teeth so badly that my husband was worried about my jaw and molars because I had an extensive dental practice. Love from the first sip! Not only does this work for buffing, but it also teaches my jaw to relax during the day! When my husband plays golf I even wear it during the day just to teach my jaw to relax during the day. LOVE THE SIMPLE USE!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Not automatic

Good protection but the sides are too big and painful

Too big for my mouth. This keeps my teeth from clenching and grinding but the sides are too big and digging into my gums/cheeks leaving painful sores on my cheeks. I wouldn't recommend it if you have a small mouth, although it does provide excellent protection for your teeth. If it wasn't so big I would have preferred it to my molded full butt protector from my dentist. This seems to make me push harder because all of my teeth are still making contact but with the barrier. I love how this one…

Pros
  • Not just useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • It makes me angry

Too bulky for mouth ache

I couldn't even keep it in my mouth for an hour after laying down. At first it was very difficult to adjust. I had to pull on one side. It was bulky and moved in my mouth. I got sick. I think it was because the bite pads (huge ones) were touching the sides of my tongue. I have a small mouth but am very disappointed in this mouthguard and am still looking for it.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Not as good as their ultra comfort but still pretty good!

My only real criticism of this guard is that the 'wings' on either side of the bite pads are very, very long! They actually rubbed my gums after one night of use. Instead of resetting the guard I just cut it off and my problem was solved. In addition, I am generally very satisfied with the SleepRight brand and happy with my purchase. I find this type of bite guard significantly longer and more comfortable than the boiling water I've used before.

Pros
  • Quality finish
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Certain costs! - Oral pain reliever

I bought this to replace my old mouth guard which I had for many years; it was up to a quarter of what it was. I got one of these a few years ago and kind of lost it when I moved. So I went back to the old one. I grind horribly at night. The first few nights (as the insert says) I had to adjust and my jaw hurt a bit but it's ok now. I've had it for quite a while now and it hasn't turned yellow or anything. And the bite pads are still intact. I also practice a little mantra in an insert and it…

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

The product has changed; The picture shown is not true.

I have been using the Secure Comfort model for many years but when I received my last order I noticed that the bite pads have changed. The pads are no longer made of soft, slightly soft material, but thick, hard plastic pads from the Dura Comfort line. The image shown in the listing shows softer opaque pads; but those that came had distinct, noticeably thicker, translucent pads. The new box is also different from the one shown in the listing. When SleepRight introduced their Dura Comfort model…

Pros
  • Few competitors

  • Unreliable

Adjustable cap!

I've tried homemade heat and bite mouthguards with limited success. So I thought I'd try a different approach. This mouthguard offers a completely different way of preventing night-time teeth grinding. There is a simple, thin, rather inconspicuous connecting strip on the lower front. There are horizontal bite plates on the sides, which can be gradually lengthened or shortened by sliding them forward or back, according to the size of the mouth, position of the molars, etc. The same plates can…
